- The original Cuiron pour Homme is a restrained leathery-woody scent with bergamot and mandarin brightness, soft spice, suede, tobacco, labdanum, and dry resinous warmth. It has the severe elegance of Helmut Lang clothing: pared back, architectural, and intimate, with leather presented as a smooth second-skin texture rather than a loud animalic statement. This original 2002 version was later discontinued before the 2014 relaunch.
